About Zamfara State Scholarship Board
Zamfara State Scholarship Board was established in 1996. The main aims of the Zamfara State Scholarship board is to support an indigenous students to study abroad and or provides to assist the local students who studied in Nigeria.
The board has two designed scholarship category, the first is International scholarship and the second category is local scholarship. Currently the scholarship board has invited a suitable applications to apply for local scholarships as the board opened an online Application Form to any indigent of the state who is seeking for assistance from Zamfara State Scholarship.
Zamfara State Scholarship Board has announced the starting the accepting of applications form from interested and qualified students who are indigents of Zamfara State studied in any accredited Programmes from tertiary institutions in Nigeria to participate into the scholarship programme.
Dr Dauda Lawal Dare the governor Zamfara State has order the Zamfara State Scholarship Boad to launch the Scholarship programme to support the Zamfara State indigents with certain funds to maintain their petty expenses in order to learn effectively.
The Scholarship Board has a designed a Google Form for the scholarship programme.Students seeking/looking scholarships from the Zamfara State Scholarship Board should scroll down to the Method of how to apply scholarship to submit/forward his/ her Google Form designed by the Zamfara State Scholarship Board ZSSB.

Zamfara State Application Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an Indigent of Zamfara State
- Must be a current student of any recognized and Accredited tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Graduates once is not eligible to participate into this scholarship
- Must have a Recent passport photography
- Must have a valid NIN
- Must have a valid Bank Verification Number (NIN)
Must have an active Bank Account Number
Documents Required For Zamfara State Scholarship Physical Screening
- A School I’D card
- A School Admission Letter
- An Indigent (state of origin)
- A Bank verification number (BVN)
- A National Identification Number (NIN)
- A print of Acknowledgement Slip if any
- A School current Receipt payment
Zamfara State Scholarship Application Process
- Submit an online Application form
- Submit a mandatory Documents
- Review of Application form by the Zamfara State scholarship board
- Physical Verification of Applications by the Verification Committee
- Funding Approval
- Disbursement of Fund to Qualified Students.

- Upload a Cleared recent passport photography a maximum file size (10M)
- Fill and Complete All your Personal Informations
- Fill and Complete Your Contact Informations
- Fill and Complete your Education Background
- Fill and Complete your Financial Informations (Bank Name, Bank Account Number, Bank Verification Number (BVN) ).
- Finally, Submit a Google Form to the Zamfara State Scholarship Board

A student who have meets the criterias highlights below is eligible to participate into 2026 Zamfara State Scholarship:
- An indigent of Zamfara State
- A current student of any Accredited tertiary institutions in Nigeria
The application is opens Saturday 27th July,2026 and will be closed on Monday 4th August, 2026. So interested and qualified Student you have a grace of 7 days left before closing the submission of the Application Form.
