National Award (NA) Scholarship 2025/2026

The National Award Scholarship is among the scholarships Scheme designed by the federal scholarship board under the Federal ministry of education. This National Award Scholarship is a scholarship designed by federal scholarship board under the monitor and supervision of the federal ministry of education.

The National Award Scholarship is a type of scholarship initiates to support Nigerian Students who studying in Public tertiary institutions across Nigeria. This type of scholarship is offer qualified Candidates with the sum of N75,000 thousand per each session for NCE Students, N150,000 thousand per each session for Undergraduate (B.Sc and HND) Students while postgraduate (M.Sc and Ph.D) students will benefits with the sum of N300,000 thousand per each session.

This National Award Scholarship is a government scholarship in Nigeria to support Nigerian Students to covers their commitments for effective learning.

National Award Scholarship Application Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Minimum of First Degree with at least second class upper for Postgraduate Students 
  • Minimum of NCE/HND or UG and must be in their second year or above in Nigeria public tertiary institutions for Undergraduate Students.
  • Enrolled as a full time students in Nigerian Public tertiary Institutions
  • Minimum of 4.00 CGPA for scale of 5.00 point for College/University Students while 3.50 CGPA for scale of 4.00 for Polytechnic Students.

  • Candidates two recent Passport Photography 
  • Candidates Institution/JAMB Admission Letter 
  • Candidates Current Courses registration form with duly signed and stamped on it

Method Of How To Apply National Award (NA) Scholarship

The method of application for National Award Scholarship are highlights below:

  • Visit Federal Scholarship board official portal at https://scholarship.education.gov.ng/scholarshis and choose National Award scholarship.
  • Candidates Shall create an account with federal scholarship board using an active email address, active phone number and strong password for security.
  • Candidates shall upload a recent passport and proceed to complete an application form by following the application instructions.
  • Candidates Should click Submit tap button for the Submission of Application. Once the application form is Submitted successfully, you can print an acknowledgement Slip for computer based test.

National Award (NA) Scholarship Application Selection Process 

Level Of Study: Board will only select Students who are in their 200 level 

Mode Of Admission: Board will only select Students enrolled as a full time

Institution: Board will select only students enrolled in Nigerian Public tertiary Institutions 

CGPA: Board select the candidates with a minimum of 4.00 CGPA for College/University Students and 3.50 CGPA for Polytechnic Students or above the minimum CGPA.

Qualification: Board will only select Postgraduate Students who have possess Bachelor degree with a minimum of Second class honors 

CBT Scored: Board select the Candidates who scored highest Mark in Computer based test
