FGN Latest Programmes For Young and Old

 

The Federal government of Nigeria (FGN) has launched a six(6) Programmes (Renewed Hope Administration For Young and Old) under the leadership of Ahmad Bola Tinubu.

The Programmes was launched by the federal government of Nigeria to assists and supports Nigerians youth and old with Skills and Loans from six designed Programmes.The Federal government latest Programmes were highlighted below:

1. Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) Application Form 

The National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF), which is designed to provide access to grants, loans, and investments to Nigerian youths, was launched. A total of 110 billion Naira has been allocated to this fund to be distributed to young people aged 18 to 40.

The purpose of the program is to develop handicrafts, reduce unemployment among the youth, and strengthen economic integration among Nigerian youth.

NYIF Application Eligibility

  1. Must be a citizen of Nigerian 
  2. Must be between the 16 to 40 years old
  3. Must have Business Registration Number (CAC number and or Smendan Number)
  4. Must have a Business Plan
  5. Must have an active Bank Verification Number
  6. Must have an active National Identification Number

Method Of How To Apply NYIF

  • Complete a Personal Informations
  • Complete a Education Informations (applicable for those with education certifications)
  • Select a Type of Facility (Grant, Equity, and or Loan).
  • Upload a Cleared document of your Business Plan
  • Upload a Cleared document of your CAC Certificate and or Smendan Certificate
  • Must provides a Minimum of 2 Referees with their Names, Emails, Employment Status, workplace etc.
  • Submit an Application Form For Review

2. Skills Up and Artisans (SUPA) Initiates

SUPA Initiative grant that will provide training, licensing and capital to artisans to further their development. The SUPA Initiative will empowers Ten (10) Million people across Nigeria within 2 years.

SUPA Application Eligibility

  1. Been a Nigerian citizen
  2. Must have a CAC number and or Smendan Number
  3. Must have a Business Plan
  4. Must have an active National Identification Number and Bank Verification Number
  5. Must visit a Training Center once you have assigned.

Method Of How To Apply SUPA

  • Should Click Register for new user while for an existing user should click log in.
  • Select your desire category ( Artisans, Intending Artisans, and or Training Center).
  • After you have selected the desire category, than proceed to create an account.
  • Once you have click create an you will require to upload a recent passport photography.
  • Fill and Complete your Personal and Business Informations.
  • Click Next to Continue Application form.
  • Provides Business informations (business plan, business chain etc.
  • Provides a CAC number and or Smendan Number
  • Submit an application form and wait for the Training.

3. Student Loan (NELFUND)

NELFUND post-secondary education support, a fund created by the federal government to give up to 260,000 low-income Nigerian students the opportunity to study without delay due to lack of resources. At the moment, about 1.17 billion Naira has been given to students in different parts of Nigeria, it is still being requested and given. The form can be filled online at the address below:

Student Loan Application Eligibility

  • Must be a Nigerian student study in Nigeria
  • Must be a Current Student of All Level (1,2,3,4, and 5)
  • Must be a Student from any recognized and Accredited Federal and State Tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
  • Must be a student of public tertiary institutions ( federal and state tertiary institutions)

Student Loan Application Process

  1. Submit an online Application Form
  2. Review and verify of Applications Form by nelfund
  3. Approval and disbursement of Fund by nelfund

Method Of How To Apply Student Loan

  • Click get Started Application Form
  • Answering some questionnaires designed by NELFUND.
  • Verify your Educational data ( select your Institution and Insert your Matric,Admin and or registration Number).
  • Very your Student Status (Insert your Jamb Number to verify).
  • Choose the Amount + Upkeep
  • Uploads a Necessity documents
  • Submit an Application for review and verify.

4. Consumer Credit ( Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation)

Consumer Credit program designed to increase access to credit for working Nigerians by 2030. The program will improve the market and provide capital to boost business and the economy.

Consumer Credit Application Eligibility

  1. Applicants Must be a Nigerian citizen
  2. Must be between the age of 18 years and above 
  3. Must have National Identification Number
  4. Must have Bank Account Number
  5. Must provides a primary needs of the business
  6. Must provides a Secondary needs of the business (if any)

Method Of How To Apply Consumer Credit

  • Complete a personal informations and Write the Amount needed.
  • Provides your Private Business Informations.
  • Insert your National Identification Number and Bank Account Number.
  • Provides a Secondary Business Informations (if there is available).

5. 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT)

3MTT program called 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT), which is also an important part of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda that will produce professionals in the field of modern technology in Nigeria to strengthen our economy and make Nigeria a country with the abundance of modern science. There are many courses and opportunities associated with this program, young people who are interested in this opportunity can fill in the following web address:

  1. Must be a Nigerian citizen
  2. Must have a valid Bank Verification Number
  3. Must have a valid National Identification Number

Method Of How To Apply 3MTT

  • Go To https://3mtt.nitda.gov.ng
  • Chooose a category between ( Follows and Training providers).
  • After you have selected the desire category and than click sign up to proceed for an application
  • Provides Accurate personal informations.
  • After providing a correct personal informations, than click Register to Continue Application form.
  • Once you you have click Register you will automatically directed to seft dashboard.

6. Renewed Hope Cities (RHC)

Renewed Hope Cities program that will provide 100,000 houses for middle-income Nigerians. Currently, this program has been started.

RHC Application Eligibility

  1. Must be a Nigerian with Business
  2. Must come from selected State
  3. Must submit an application form
  4. Must have an active Bank Verification Number and National Identification Number.

1. Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF)

The loan covers tuition and can include a stipend for upkeep, depending on the option selected during application.

Repayment begins after graduation and employment, based on the terms set by NELFUND. The process is managed through the official loan portal.

4. Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CrediCorp)

What is the goal of this programme?

To expand access to affordable credit for working Nigerians, helping them finance personal and business needs while building a formal credit history.

What documents are required?

Applicants need a valid NIN, BVN, bank account details, and basic information about income and intended use of funds.

Can anyone apply?

The scheme is open to Nigerian citizens aged 18 and above with a verifiable source of income.

5. 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT)

What is 3MTT about? 

Its a skills development programme focused on training Nigerians in digital and technical fields such as software development, data analysis, cybersecurity, and AI.

Who can participate?

Nigerian citizens with a valid NIN and BVN. Both beginners and those with some technical background can apply through the official 3MTT portal.

Will participants get certified?

Yes. Successful trainees receive certification and may be linked to job placement or freelance opportunities.

6. Renewed Hope Cities (RHC)

What is Renewed Hope Cities?

Its a housing initiative aimed at delivering affordable homes for middle-income Nigerians across selected states.

How do I apply for a house?

Applications are made through the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development portal. You’ll choose a location, property type, and payment option, then submit your personal and business details.

Is this for low-income citizens only?

No. The programme targets middle-income earners with verifiable income and identification documents.
