WAEC Resit Registration: How to Register WAEC Resit Step by Step. The West African Examinations Council has brought a development to the west African countries. The WAEC has introduced new resit examination for those who have fails and or missed the previous WAEC examination conducted in May/June each.

The WAEC introduced resit examination to african countries for the second chance opportunity to retake WAEC resit examination plans to conduct in Jan/Feb every year. Candidates can register one, two or more subjects failed or missed during the May/June WAEC examination.

This introducing of WAEC resit enables candidates to further their study secondary bto post secondary Schools. Candidates who fails the core Subjects in WAEC May/June such as English Language, Mathematics, Physics, chemistry, Economics, Government, History, Geography etc can retake one or two subjects without losing an academic session or spend one year at home for nothing.

Currently WAEC opens the registration for WAEC resit first series (PC1) examination. The registration for WAEC resit first series examination has commerced on 6th January, 2025 and ends on 20th January, 2025. The WAEC resit examination is going to take between Jan/Feb 2025.

Who is eligible For WAEC Resit Examination?

WAEC introduced resit examination to any students who fails some subjects in the previous WAEC examination and wishing to resit one, two or more subjects. Students whose seats for the previous WAEC examination but their results were cancelled due to examination malpractice are also qualified for this WAEC resit examination.

The registration Portal for WAEC resit examination is https://registration.waecdirect.org/. Candidates who wishing to resit their subjects failed in the previous WAEC examination candidates are advised to visit the WAEC official website to complete the registration.

WAEC Resit Registration 2025 Fee 

The registration fee for WAEC resit first series examination is ₦27,000. Candidates should make purchase of WAEC registration PIN cost twenty seven thousand naira (₦27,000).

When is WAEC Registration for 2025 starting?

The registration for WAEC resit examination has started since Monday 6th January, 2025 and the registration closed on Monday 20th January, 2025. Candidates Who wishing to participate in the upcoming WAC resit examination should complete their registration before the deadline of the registration.

How to Register For WAEC 2025 Resit Examination 

To register for new introduced WAEC resit examination, candidates should carefully! follows the steps below:

Step: 1 Visit WAEC official portal at https://registration.waecdirect.org/ and read the guidelines and instructions carefully.

Step: 2 Get WAEC registration PIN. Candidates before register for WAEC resit examination should have obtain WAEC registration PIN from any authorized vendors and or authorized WAEC agents. This WAEC registration PIN enables candidates to complete their WAEC resit registration. This WAEC resit examination will hold in this 2025.

Step: 3 Starts WAEC resit registration upon obtained the WAEC registration PIN. WAEC resit registration will complete online by long in with your personal details, contact information, choose the subjects wishes to resit on and uploads recent passport attached with others mandatory documents.

Step: 4 Confirm your details entering before submitting the registration form. After submitting the registration form there is no room for making any corrections. Candidates should ensure that all the details entering is correct and accurate before submitting the WAEC registration form.

Step: 5 Print out the registration Slip. Once candidates is successful completed registration their confirmation registration Slip will be displays and able to print out for the examination.

This registration Slip contains the candidates details such includes personal details, contact information, subjects choosed for the resit, date, time and center of the examination. Candidates should go along with registration Slip at the WAEC resit examination venue.

Important Note:

  • The deadline for obtaining WAEC registration PIN is 20th January, 2025. And the Candidates biometrics capture and complete online registration deadline is exactly by Wednesday, 20th January, 2025 11:59 PM.
  • WAEC Resit Registration can be completed at any accredited internets Cafes operators. WAEC are advised candidates to visit any accredited internet Cafes to complete the registration which minimize mistakes/errors at time of registration.
