UI Acceptance Fee Payment 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Ibadan has directed all UTME/DE candidates who have been offered admission and have successfully generated their admission letters on JAMB CAPS are required to pay a non refundable acceptance fee of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) through the University Admission Portal via www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.

The admission portal for payment of acceptance fee will open on Monday November 10th, 2025 to Friday December 5th , 2025. Admitted candidates should please note that there will be no extension deadline for payment of acceptance fee deadline.

Prospective Candidates who are yet to generate their admission in JAMB CAPS letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Candidates request for a refund of N50,000 acceptance fee will not be considered.

All admitted candidates are requested to upload the following requirements documents attached with the payment of the fee:

O’Level results
Exam Pin/Seria Number of NECO, WAEC scratch card for O’Level results

UI Acceptance Fee Payment Instructions

Follow the instructions to complete your payment of acceptance fee successfully:

1. Visit the university admission portal via UI Admission Portal

2. Log in to Admission Portal using your login details.

3. Select method of payment:

Using Bank Branch: You can make any of acceptance fee at any commercial bank using the printed the invoice from the university admission porta.
Using Card: You can also make payment of acceptance fee via Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card.

4. Print out your payment receipt if the payment is made successfully.

Important Notes:

On payment of the prescribed fee, candidates are expected to submit their original certificates to the designated Admission Officers at the Graduate Admissions Office for approval on a date to be notified later.
Thereafter, candidates who are found eligible in the preliminary examination will be conferred with degrees in a grand ceremony as students of the university.
If it is found during the preliminary examination or at any time that a candidate has obtained admission with insufficient, irregular or incorrect information, the university reserves the right to withdraw the admission.
