The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program is a program of the Federal Ministry of Education designed to equip young Nigerians with self reliant skills to create jobs and businesses.
The Federal Ministry of Education is invited applications from suitably qualified Nigerians youth for its Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Interested and qualified Nigerians youth should submit their application form.

TVET Program Application Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have the following entry requirements:
- Been a Nigerian citizens or residents
- Active/valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- Active/valid Valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- Have a minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
- Submit an online application form

TVET Program Training Centres
TVET Program has approved the training centres from all 6 zone: The Northeast, Northwest, North Central, Southeast, Southwest and the South South zone. The training centres are accredited within the following:
- State owned institutions
- Accredited Private vacational centers
- Federal and State Technical Colleges
How to Apply for TVET Program
Interested candidates should follows the Application Steps highlights below:
Step 1: Visit the program official portal at https://www.tvet.education.gov.ng and Click Apply
Step 2: Create an account on the program portal, verify your NIN and BVN, fill out the required fields and proceed to the application form.
Step 3: Select your desired program in between VEI or STC Category.
Step 4: Fill out your Personal Informations, uploads a cleared scanned copies of the required documents.
Step 5: Choose your preferred training centre and trade.
Step 6: Click on the SUBMIT tap button to submit your application. Wait for the submission confirmation via email address.

How to Contact TVET Support Team
TVET beneficiaries/applicants who experience any issues with your TVET application, dashboard, attendance, unable to select training center, not received payment, or any other technical matter, you can send your complaint directly to the TVET Support Team via the Helpdesk on the official TVET portal.
How to Contact TVET Support Team via Helpdesk
1. Log in to your TVET dashboard using your phone number as your username and insert password.
2. Navigate to the Helpdesk or Support section.
3. Submit your complaint with all necessary details, including:
- Full Name (as registered in the TVET system)
- Registered Email Address
- Phone Number
- Application ID
- State and Training Centre
- Screenshots or evidence of the issue
4. Click Submit and patiently wait for the TVET Support Team to respond.

Why did I not receive email from TVET program, while others have already received their own?

After you sent me the congratulatory message confirming that I was accepted, I logged into the training centre portal and selected a centre. Later, I realized that the training centre I chose is very far from my neighbourhood. I then requested a change of training centre. When I checked my dashboard, I saw that my status has been changed to “Pending.”
