NSCDC Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

All interested and qualified Nigerian who wishing to join into the commission should have meet the following requirements below:

• Applicants must be a Citizen of Nigeria by birth or neutralization 
• Applicants must have obtained at least 4 credits in either NECO, WAEC, NABTED and or GCE in no more than two sittings paper.
• Applicants Must be between 18-30 years old 
• Applicants must have a height measurement of not less than 1.67 for male metres and 1.65 for female applicants
• Applicants Must have a birth Certificate/declaration of age with duly signed and stamped on it
• Applicants must have a chest measurement of not less than 0.87 
• Applicants must have not been convicted any crime
• Applicants should have a computer literacy which an added advantage for all applicants 
• All applicants must be a physicallly and mentally fit (medical fitness)

How to Apply for 2025/2026 NSCDC Recruitment

Eligible Candidates should follow the steps below to apply for the 2025/2026 recruitment exercise:

Step 1: Access the NSCDC Official Recruitment Portal

Applicants are to visit the NSCDC Official recruitment portal https:nscdc.gov.ng 

Step 2: Sign up an Account 

Interested and eligible candidates are to create an account with NSCDC for the recruitment exercise. Create an account using your Full name, active Phone Number, valid email address and password.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form

Interested applicants must have fill the application form using the their personal information, educational information and the contact information.

Step 4: Upload the Required Documents

Applicants are required to uploads a recent Passport photography, a Cleared scanned copies of their Identity Card (National Identify card, Votes identity card and or equivalent identity card), NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate (applicable for those wishes to apply for high rank) etc.

Step 5: Application Submission
