MTN Foundation Scholarship For Nigerian Students 

MTN Foundation Scholarship are invited applications from suitably and qualified Nigerians for its 2025 scholarship program. This MTN foundation Scholarship is specifically opened for 200 level and 300 level students of universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. 

The MTN Foundation usually opened scholarship each year for STEM and Blind students of public institutions to support them with scholarship grant of worth ₦300,000 annually to any beneficiary. 

The MTN  Foundation was established MTN foundation Scholarship in 2010. This scholarship it is an annual grant to three categories of students, the 100 level students, the 200 level students and the 300 level of students of public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

2025 MTN Foundation Scholarship Summary

Category of MTN Foundation Scholarship

MTN foundation Scholarship are normally divided into two group. The students with physical abilities and students with disabilities. The two category of MTN Scholarship were listed below:

  1. MTN Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship
  2. MTN Foundation Scholarship for Blind Students

The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

  • STEM students must enrolled in universities, polytechnics or Colleges of education in Nigeria.
  • STEM students must have a minimum of 3.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
  • STEM students from public polytechnics must have at least 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average.
  • STEM students from public polytechnics must have a minimum Ordinary National Diploma and must have gained admission into the Higher National Diploma Program.
  • STEM students applying as a direct entry level must have at least 3.0  Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from their ordinary national diploma program and must have gained admission as a direct entry to 300 level in any accredited and recognized university.
  • STEM students must have submit an online application form.

MTN Scholarship for Blind Students Eligibility Criteria 

  • Blind students must enrolled as a full time students in universities, polytechnics and or Colleges of education.
  • Blind students must have a minimum of 2.5 CGPA.
  • Blind students from public polytechnics must have at least 2.0 CGPA.
  • Blind students from public polytechnics must have a minimum Ordinary OND and gained admission into the HND Program.
  • Blind students must have submit an online application form.

To apply for MTN foundation Scholarship follows the method of application below:

Step 1: Visit https://www.mtn.ng/scholarships/

Step 2: Click on the APPLY FOR MTN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP 2025 to apply 

Step 3: Select the type of scholarship wishes to apply (MTN Foundation Science and Technology Scholarship or MTN Foundation Scholarship for Blind Students) and next to continue the application.

Step 4: Complete the questionnaires designed.

Step 5: Click on the Proceed to Form  to complete your application form.

Step 6: Fill out your Personal Information carefully.

Step 7: Fill out your personal records: academic information, Next of kin informations and personal statement of not more than 500 words.

Step 8: Click on the SUBMIT tap button to forward your application to MTN Scholarship committee for review.
