The College is approved by the Kano State Ministry of Health and accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCNJ to run General Nursing and Basic Midwifery.It is also accredited by the National Board of Nursing (NBTE) for ND/HND Nursing. Nursing and midwifery programs and public health.

Job Positions and Requirements 

1. Provost

Requirements:

• Applicants Must possess RN,RNT/PGONE/PGDE.MSc or PhD in Nursing Science/Education.
• Applicants Minimum 10 years cognate experience in Tertiary institution.

2. Registrar

Requirements:

• Applicants Must possess HND/BSc, MSc in Social and Management Sciences,professional membership 
• Applicants Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in tertiary institution.

3. Librarian

Requirements:

• Applicants Must Possess BLIS MUS, PhD In Library &Information Sciences.membership of relevant professional bodies 
• Applicants must have Minimum of 5 years cognate Experience in tertiary institution.

4. Bursar

Requirements:

• Applicants Must possess HND/BSc, MSc in Accounting finance, Economics, Business Administration,ICAN/ANAN membership and accounting package skills for tertiary institutions operations

5. Director, Physical Planning and Maintenance

Requirements:

• Applicants Must possess HND/BSc/BEng/MArch/BTech in Engineering Surveying, Building Estate Management etc, membership of relevant professional bodies
• Applicants must have Minimum of 5 years Cognate experience in tertiary Institutions set up.

2. Academic Positions:

1. Full time Nurse/Midwife Educators

2. Part time Nurse/Midwife Educators

3. Sick Bay Nurse (Full-time/Part time)

4. Full/Part time Lecturers in General

Note: Applicants with Academic Positions must be in any one of the following Subjects: Anatomy, Behavioural Sciences, Biostatistics, Chemistry, English, Entrepreneurship, Physics, Microbiology and Physiology.

 5. Clinical Instructors

Specific Requirements for Academic Positions:

• Applicants who are interested in the academic positions MUST have valid practicing licenses issued by Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigéria IN&MCN) and possess academic qualifications:
• Applicants must possess RN, RNE, PGDE, B.N.Sc.
• Applicants must possess RN/RM,RNT/PGDNE/ PGDE, B.N.Sc., for Nurse/Midwife Tutors
• Applicants must possess RN/RM for Demonstration/Clinical skills Instructors Bsc,Msc, PhD,PGDE for General Studies Lecturers 

6. Nurse and Midwife Educators

Requirements:

• Applicant must have a Minimum of B.N.Sc with RN/RM and PGDE
• Applicants must have Minimum of 5 years working experiences in relevant field
• Applicants with Computer literacy is an added advantage

7. Sick Bay Nurse (Part time/Full-time)

Requirements:

• The applicant must have RN/RM with at least 5 years experience in tertiary institution.

3. Non-Teaching Staff:

1. Admin officers-AND/BSc Confidential Secretaries-Dip/ND
2. Office Assistants-SSCE/Dip
3. Security personnels-SSCE/Dip
4. Drivers-SSCE with valid ERSC Drivers’ License.
5. Cleaners/Gardeners-SSCE
6. Female Hostel Matron-SSCE
7. Male Hostel Hall Admin-Dip/ND
