The Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR) is looking for passionate and talent peoples who is indigenes or residents of Kano State for the position of program Analyst. The SCIDaR is a non profit organization mainly works to accelerate positive health, social and economic reforms.

The Program Analyst is responsible for providing technical and operational support for the implementation of assigned Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR) programs, such includes the day to day implementation of all program activities.

The Solina Center for Social Development and Research (SCIDaR) is a non-profit organization that works to promote improved health, social and economic transformation through the design and implementation of quality programs, capacity building, applied scientific research and knowledge generation, including policy formulation and stakeholder meetings in the areas of human development.

SCIDaR work seeks to benefit the most vulnerable and underserved. They are implementing transformational programs in Nigeria and are currently expanding their footprint to several countries in West and Central Africa. Program Analyst Responsibilities and Requirements 

Technical Responsibilities (Program Support)

1. Program Implementation 

  • Collect and analyze data, create and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations
  • Support the day-to-day implementation of program activities
  • Contribute to the work plan and develop program challenges to the Program Partner
  • Participate in regular technical problem-solving sessions with the primary customer and stakeholders to address implementation challenges and coordinate on decisions to guide the way forward
  • Ensure collaboration and coordination with partners to ensure smooth implementation of projects and achieve results
  • Monitoring and Reporting Regularly monitor and review program activities to ensure quality, accountability, and compliance with agreed-upon deliverables and performance indicators as the project progresses
  • Collect progress reports and interact with key stakeholders
  • Participate in mid-term review and final program evaluations;

2. Program monitoring and reporting

  • Regularly monitor and review program activities to ensure quality, accountability, and contractual compliance with agreed deliverables and performance indicators as per the scope of working.
  • Participate in structured mid-term and end-term program evaluations
  • Documenting progress reports and liaising with key stakeholders

  • Proficient computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Demonstrated aptitude for analysis.
  • Reliable people manager, capable of managing and developing diverse and diverse teams within the organization.
  • Results oriented, skilled in developing and tracking self and team performance with clear KPIs.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

2. Education and Teaching Experience Requirements 

  • Academic Record: A strong record of academic achievement with a minimum of a first degree in International Development, Science and Technology, Policy and Strategic Development, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Management or similar.
  • Experience: Strong leadership skills in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting
