Are you a petty traders owner running a business in Nigeria? If yes, the Youth Empowerment Nigeria has announced the launch of the 2025 petty Traders Grant Programme. Interested and eligible small business owners can submit their application through the Youth Empowerment Nigeria application portal.
Petty Traders Grant Support Programme 2025
This petty traders grant support programme is an initiatives programme by youth empowerment Nigeria (YEN) provides a seed capital range between ₦10,000 and ₦100,000 to help the Nigerian petty traders to generate sustainable income.
Unlike most funding opportunities, there is no business registration required, and the process is simple, with minimal paperwork. As long as you are a Nigerian citizen within the required age range, you are eligible to apply.
The grant is specifically open to aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners who need capital recovery or support to grow their business.
About Petty Traders Grant Support Programme
The Petty Traders Grant Support Program is a community-based program designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and emerging entrepreneurs. It provides financial assistance to individuals who need a small start-up capital for a small business, such as buying and selling goods or providing basic services. For existing entrepreneurs, the grant can be additional funding to strengthen and expand their businesses.

Application Eligibility Criteria
To to eligible for Petty Traders Grant Support Programme, applicants must meets the following requirements:
- Applicants must be a Nigerian between bracket of 18-55 years.
- Applicants must be an entrepreneur and or aspiring entrepreneur.
- Applicants must own a business or have an idea to create business.
- Applicants must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN) Slip.
- Applicants must provide at least one contact person details.
- Applicants must have a verifiable/authenticity residential address.
- Applicants must have a valid Bank account number (10 digit bank account number).
- Applicants must submit an online completed application form with attached required documents.

How to Apply Petty Traders Grant Support Programme 2025
Step 1: Register: Applicants should submit their personal and business details at the petty traders grant support programme application form. Click here now to start register
Step 2: Onboard: Applicants should fill out the required form carefully with correct details to avoid disqualification during verification. Review your entries before submission changes cannot be made once submitted.
Step 3: Receive Grant After successful registration: Applicants who is successfully qualified he/she will receive a confirmation email with acknowledging their application.
