The ongoing Nigeria police force 2026 recruitment exercise for the new 50,000 personnel to be recruited into the Nigeria police force commission has released update for the next stage of the application process.

The Nigeria Police Recruitment 2026 process continues to progress as the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and the police service commission (PSC) has officially announced the dates for the Computer Based Test (CBT) and scheduled  to commence from April 28 to 30, 2026. This computer based test exam stage is a crucial stage of the Nigeria police recruitment exercise and the computer based test results will determine candidates who move forward in the selection process.

The Nigeria Police Force has fixed the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the ongoing 50000 new officers:

  • April 28 to April 30, 2026

All candidates who have successfully passed the earlier stages, including application review and  physical credentials screening will be invited to participate in the computer based test (CBT) examination.

All candidates who passed the earlier stages are strongly advised to regularly check their email address, SMS and the Nigeria Police Force official recruitment portal for their exam slip, venue details and specific instructions.

The Nigeria Police Computer Based Test (CBT) exam is a computer based assessment designed by the Nigeria police force commission and the police service commission to evaluate the best candidates on key competencies required for service in the police force.

2. Applications Acknowledgment Slip (Applicants Slip)

Candidates must come with the printout of their application acknowledgment slip obtained during registration.
