Nigeria Police Force Shortlist 2026 for Screening
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially released the Shortlisted Candidates for Screening 2026 which as part of its ongoing recruitment exercise. Applicants who successfully completed their online registration can now confirm their status get prepared for the physical and credentials screening which is scheduled to begins from March 9th, 2026 and ends on 18 April, 2026.
Nigeria Police Force Shortlist 2026 Update
The Nigeria Police Force shortlist contains the applicants Information Form, Credentials Screening Form, Physical Screening Form and the Verification Form who met the required criteria during the online application stage.
Shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in the:
- Physical Screening
- Credentials Verification
- Aptitude Test
- Medical Examination
Only candidates whose names appear on the official Nigeria Police Force shortlist portal will proceed to the screening stage.
NPF Screening 2026 Important Note
- Screening Starts: March 9th, 2026
- Screening Ends: April 18th, 2026
- Screening Venue: State police command headquarters
- Measurements: Must be at 1.67 meters
- Age Limit: Must be between 18-26 years
- Heath Status: Must be Physical and Mentally fit
How to Check Nigeria Police Shortlisted Candidates 2026
Applicants show follow these steps to check their application status via the Nigeria Police Force Recruitment portal:
1. Visit the official Nigeria Police recruitment portal via npfapplication.psc.gov.ng
2. Log in your profile using your National Identification Number to check Proceed for Screening Forms.
3. Click on the “Proceed to Physical Screening” to print out your invitation slip and physical & credentials screening forms.
4. Print out the following forms:
- Candidate Information Form
- Credentials Screening Form
- Physical Screening Form
- Verification Form
5. Confirm your screening date, venue and time.
Note: Candidates are advised to check carefully and print all required documents before attending the screening.

Nigeria Police Screening Date 2026
The Nigeria Police Force has announced that the 2026 Physical and Credentials Screening Exercise will commence nationwide across designated state police command headquarters from March 9th to April 18th, 2026.
Shortlisted candidates must report at their selected state screening centers on the date indicated on their screening slip. Candidates who fail to report on their scheduled date may be disqualified.
NPF Required Documents for Screening 2026
All shortlisted candidates must present the following documents at the screening venue:
1. Printed Submission Slip
2. Section A: Candidate Information Form
3. Section B: Print the following forms:
- Credentials Screening Form
- Physical Screening Form
- Verification Form
- Guarantors Form
4. Original and photocopies of educational certificates
5. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
6. Certificate of Origin (Indigene Certificate)
7. National Identity Number (NIN) Slip
Nigeria Police Physical Screening Requirements
During the screening exercise, candidates will undergo physical measurement and verification. Applicants must:
- Meet the minimum height requirement
- Be medically and physically fit
- Not have deformities or visible tattoos
- Be free from criminal records
Nigeria Police Force Screening 2026 Centres
The Nigeria police force 2026 screening will take place notimwide across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Candidates are required to report to the police command headquarters in the state selected during the application registration.
