The Federal government launched the Nigeria jubilee fellows programme enhance the employability of recent graduates by connecting them to work experience through 12-month paid placements in private and public institutions across the country.

The Nigerian Jubilee Fellows Program (NJFP) Applications are open between 6 September 2025 and 20 October 2025. Interested and suitably qualified Nigerians graduate should get ready as the NJFP applications for both fellows and the host host organizations will be opens soon. Interested applicants should read the programme eligible criteria before starting of application form.

About the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a programme of the Federal Government of Nigeria, funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

As a talent accelerator, the programme seeks to enhance the employability of recent graduates by connecting them to work experience through 12-month paid placements in private and public institutions across the country. Therefore, the NJFP was designed as a value-added model to facilitate the effective transition and impact of recent graduates from learning to earning.

Benefits of Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP)

  • Beneficiaries will receive 12 months of work experience in private and public institutions.
  • Beneficiaries will gain on the-job skills, expertise, experience, and exposure.
  • Beneficiaries will receive a monthly allowance of N100,000 to ease their learning experience and cover some of the costs associated with their placement. 
  • Beneficiaries will be placed in a dynamic Talent Hub to receive support for the last mile in all aspects of job and business development. 
  • Beneficiaries may be retained by the host organization based on the needs and capabilities of the employer.

NJFP Application Eligibility Criteria

To be an eligible NJFP fellow as Individual, applicants you must:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen with aged of between 18-30 years.
  • Must be a fresh graduate of Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline from recognized Institution in Nigeria.
  • Must have graduated with a minimum of Second Class Lower division (2.2) for Bachelors degree holders while Higher National Diploma (HND) must at least Upper Credit (3.00) 
  • Must be unemployed and not been engaged in any employment type.
  • Must have completed a compulsory NYSC and or having an exemption letter issued from the NYSC board.
  • Must have an excellent time management and a professional integrity and attitude.
  • Must have proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication.
  • Must show demonstrate/commitment to supporting to Nigeria socio economic development 
  • Must show demonstrate/commitment in chosen career discipline.

To be an eligible for NJFP fellow as host organization, organization must meets the following requirements:

  • Organization must have CAC Certificate of Incorporation (CAC certificate) and situated in Nigeria.
  • Provide an official letter of interest that fully understands the NJFP mission and commitment to supporting the program by accepting residency. 
  • Provide a clear description of the requirements of the role. 
  • Agreement to provide leadership support to partners by committing to residencies with qualified professionals within their organizations. 
  • Agreement to abide by program policies and sign a code of conduct. 
  • Have a non-discrimination policy based on gender, race, religion, and disability status, and a policy against sexual harassment, assault, and exploitation (PSHEA). 
  • Have no criminal record, convictions, or affiliations with prohibited organizations, i.e., terrorists, drug traffickers, illegal trafficking, or child labor.

1. Visit https://www.njfp.ng/apply

2. Click on “Apply” to register and proceed to the application form.

3. Log into your account and start application

4. Fill out required fields and uploads a cleared scanned copies of the required documents.

5. Click on “Submit Application” to apply for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP).
