NIH Youth Innovators Programme Eligibility Criteria

Must be a citizen of Nigeria or a currently reside in Nigeria.
NIH Youth Innovators Programme is open to Nigerian youths of ages between 15 to 40 years old.
Innovative products must be in the field of science, engineering and manufacturing.
The invention must be original and created by the participants or team participants.
The invention must solve a local problem or improve the quality of life of the community.
Applicants can submit an ideas in English language or local language with translation (if possible).
Each applicant/team of applicants can only submit one design.
Each applicant/team of applicants must have at least one Instagram handle/account
NIH Youth Innovators Applications are open to individuals or teams. For teams, one participate from the team of participants must be the one lead the team.
Applicants must be talented and original creators, not fully funded.
Low tech or no tech solutions are welcome.
The innovation must be practical or relevant to the Nigerian context.
Inventions must be in one of the following stages: Product or Fully Developed. Products that are still at the Idea stage are not eligible to apply.
