Basic Requirements for Nigerian Army Recruitment
- Applicants must be single, a born in Nigerian and must possess a National Identity Card (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN). The name and date of birth on the NIN must match those on the BVN and all other supporting documents.
- Applicants must be fit, physically and mentally in accordance with the Nigerian Army regulations. Applicants must be free from any convictions by a court of law.
- All applicants must possess a minimum of 4 passes including English Language at not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCENECO/NABTERNBAIS.
- In addition to the above qualifications, applicants for female entrepreneurs must possess a TRADE CERTIFICATE AND AUTHORISATION CERTIFICATE.
- Applicants must possess a valid birth certificate issued by the National Population Commission, Hospital and Local Government Council or a certified copy of the age declaration.
- Applicants must not below 18 years of age or above 22 years of age for non-traders and women, while tradesmen and women must not exceed 26 years of age as on 30th December 2025.
- Applicants must not below 1.68 meters and 1.65 meters tall for male and female candidates respectively.
- All applicants must use their state of origin and not their state of residence. Applicants must be in possession of a valid state of origin certificate.

- Applicants Should Select Regular Recruit Intake Application (Secondary School Certification Holders).
- Applicants Should read and understand all Basic and additional requirements and eligibility, and general instructions carefully! before proceed to application form.
- Applicants after have read and understand all the requirements should click APPLY.
- Applicants should click log in and insert email address and password used when registered for existing user while for new user should click sign up and provide email address and password and click verify. Once you have verify you will receive a confirm to your registered email address directed you to confirm/verify your account and create a strong password.
- Upon successful set a strong password, applicants are required to log in to their account and proceed for application form.
- Applicant should upload a recent passport photography and provides his/her personal informations, primary informations, secondary informations and tertiary institutions informations as the of trade-mans/trade-women.
- Applicants are required to write down their O’Level results ( Name of School, Subjects and their grade obtained) carefully!
- Applicants are advised to read all the informations provided to ensure that its correct and accurate before submitting the application form.
