Grantmaking Program Basic Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for funding from the African Partnership, organizations must meet the following key criteria. These are the core requirements we look for in all compelling applications:
- Must be a African-based and African-owned
- Must Serve specific communities in the sub-Saharan region
- Must have an annual budget between $150,000 and $1,500,000
- Must have a signed board (meets a minimum of twice a year)
- Must have a minimum of one paid staff member
- Must have Maintain a basic financial management system
- Must Conduct an annual external audit for the past two years
