The Federal Government has officially announces March 9, 2026 for YEIDEP Batch B Registration to Empower 20 Million Nigerian Youth across the states.

The Federal Government through the Youth Economic Development Initiative (YEIDEP), has officially announced that Monday, March 9, 2026 as the date for the commencement of registration for Batch B to empower 20 million Nigerian youths across the states. The aimed of this is to empowers about 20 million Nigerian youths across the country.

Federal government begins YEIDEP Batch B registration 2026 to empower 20 million Nigerian youths as contains in a statement disclosure by the Director General of YEIDEP. The YEIDEP programme is designed to provide support start up business and existing business with capital and sustainable economic opportunities to Nigerian youths from aged 18 to 50.

According to the Director General of YEIDEP, the YEIDEP Batch B registration will differ from Batch A which conducted mainly on an online portal for registration and the authorized partners bank will contacted successfully applicants to follow the instructions and open accounts online or by visiting their nearest branch to open an accounts.

This YEIDEP Batch B registration will be conducted through the authorized partner bank physically, so all interested and eligible applicants are required to visit authorized partners bank designated to facilitate the YEIDEP program registration to open a YEIDEP bank account which is part of the programme official requirement for registration and participation in the YEIDEP programme.

The Federal government has empowered Nigeria youths in to the YEIDEP program Batch A in 2025, the beneficiaries will be pay after the Batch B registration. So if you have successfully registered in YEIDEP batch A and successfully received your account number from any one of the authorized partners bank, you should be patient the federal government have not cancelled or forgotten the YEIDEP Batch A beneficiaries.

NOTE: The Director General of YEIDEP programme also clarified that any individual who successfully registered under Batch A conducted in 2025 and already receive confirmed YEIDEP bank accounts are not eligible to participate in the YEIDEP Program Batch B.

However, individuals who registered in Batch A but did not receive confirmed YEIDEP bank accounts are encouraged to  reapply.

YEIDEP Batch B Registration 2026 Requirements 

Applicants who wish to participate in the YEIDEP Batch B registration for 2026 must meet certain eligibility requirements.

1. Age Requirement

Applicants should be between 18 and 50 years old at the time of Registration.

2. Citizenship

Only citizens of Nigeria are eligible to apply for the YEIDEP programme.

3. Valid Identification

Applicants are expected to provide valid identification details, including:

  • National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • A working phone number and email address for further communication.

4. Bank Account

Applicants must have an active bank account from any one of the authorized partners bank designated for the program. all interested and eligible applicants are required to visit authorized partners bank designated to facilitate the YEIDEP program registration to open a YEIDEP bank account which is part of the programme official requirement for registration and participation in the YEIDEP programme. 5. Business Interest or Idea

Applicants should have a business idea or an existing small business. The programme supports various sectors such as agriculture, small scale production, ICT, fashion, and other entrepreneurial activities.

How to Register YEIDEP Batch B 2026 Registration 

For YEIDEP Batch B Registration 2026 of the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (YEIDEP), registration is conducted physically at designated partner banks, not through an online portal.

All interested and eligible applicants are required to visit authorized partners bank designated to facilitate the YEIDEP Programme to complete their registration. Follows the Step by Step to complete your YEIDEP registration: 

Step 1: Visit a Designated Partner Bank

Interested and eligible Applicants should go to any authorized YEIDEP partner bank branch near them to start the registration process. YEIDEP Application Form 

Step 2: Request the YEIDEP Registration Form

At the bank, inform the staff that you want to register for the YEIDEP Batch B programme. The bank will provide guidance and the required registration form.

Step 3: Provide Your Personal Information

Applicants you will be required to provide accurate details such as:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Residential address
  • National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN)

Step 4: Open a YEIDEP Bank Account 

Applicants may be required to open a special YEIDEP account with the partner bank. This YEIDEP bank account will be used for programme grant disbursement 

Step 5: Submit Your Registration

After completing the form and providing the required details, applicants should submit the form at the bank. Your details will then be forwarded for screening and further processing.
