The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially announced the commencement of the physical and credentials screening of its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise.

The Nigeria police force to Commence Physical Screening and Credential Screening which is scheduled begins from 9th March, 2026 to 18th April, 2026 across the Nigeria Police Force designated state screening centers.

The NPF has officially released shortlisted candidates for physical and credential screening. Applicants who successfully completed the online registration are strongly advised to check their status and prepare adequately for the screening exercise which is scheduled to start from 9th March, 2026.

The physical and credentials screening exercise will take place at the Nigeria Police Force designated centers within each State plus FCT Abuja.

Yes. The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially started notifying the shortlisted applicants through the official recruitment portal. Candidates are directed to log in their profile using their National Identification Number to confirm whether they have been selected for the physical and credentials screening of the 2026 recruitment process.

Only candidates who meet the initial application eligibility criteria and verification requirements are shortlisted for the screening and be able print their screening schedule.

Applicants to check their names should follow the steps below to confirm your application screening status:

1. Applicants should visit the official NPF recruitment portal through NPF Recruitment Portal

2. Applicants should navigate to the Print Forms or Physical Screening section and insert NIN number.

3. Applicants should enter your 11 digits National Identification Number (NIN).

4. Applicants should click on Preview Form or Print Submission Slip.”

5. If Applicants is been shortlisted, they csn can download and print their screening slip.

Note: Candidates should make ensure that their NIN is correctly active and verified to avoid login or validation issues.

Nigeria Police Screening Date for 2025 Recruitment

The Nigeria police force is yet to announce the exact date for the 2025 recruitment. The Nigeria Police Force will conduct physical and credential screening across designated centers nationwide.

All Shortlisted candidates must:

1. Attend on the exact date indicated on their screening slip

2. Arrive early at the designated screening venue

3. Appear in clean white T-shirt and white shorts (if required)

4. Be physically and medically fit

Nigeria Police Screening Requirements 2025/2026 Recruitment

All shortlisted candidates must come along with the following requirements to the screening venue:

1. Printed Screening Slip

2. Completed Guarantors Form

3. Original and photocopies of academic certificates (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent)

4. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration

5. Certificate of Origin

6. National Identification Number (NIN) slip

7. Recent passport photographs

8. Writing materials

9. White T-shirt and white shorts with canvas (for physical screening)

Note: Failure to present any of the required documents may lead to disqualification.

The Nigeria Police Force will conduct physical and credential screening across designated centers across Nigeria. Shortlisted Candidates will attend their screening at their selected state of origin.
