The Applications are now open for the 2026 Connect NextGen Hackathon Programme. Interested individuals should visit the program portal to apply.

About Connect NextGen Hackathon Programme
The Connect NextGen Hackathon is a programme designed by Ericsson, in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Tech Revolution Africa.
This programme is a national innovation program designed to identify, support and scale early stage technology startups building solutions for African most major challenges.
Through a robust hackathon and scaling program, selected startups will receive financial support, mentorship, exposure and access to partners, helping them transform ideas into sustainable and impactful initiatives.

Connect NextGen Hackathon Programme Eligibility Criteria
Startups to be eligible for the connect nextGen hackathon programme program, startups must have satisfy the following criteria:
- Startups must operate in Nigeria
- Startups must possess a minimum viable product
- Startups must demonstrate measurable traction or pilot usage
- Startups must be gender inclusive in team composition
