The Network of Youth for Sustainable Initiative (NGYouthSDGs) is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 Youth Activators Lab (YAL) Program are now open. This program is designed to equip young changemakers with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to drive sustainable development across Nigeria.
The Youth Activators Lab (YAL) is a transformative leadership program designed to equip young changemakers in Nigeria with the tools, skills, and support they need to create lasting impact in their communities.
The program empowers young leaders by building their capacity to develop innovative solutions to social challenges, drive change, and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The participants will receive training in key areas such as leadership, advocacy, project management, and fundraising while benefiting from mentoring from experienced global leaders.

Youth Activators Lab (YAL) Program Requirements
- Applicants must be residing in Nigeria for the next six (6) months.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 29.
- Applicants must passionate about being a changemaker and addressing local and global social issues.
- Applicants must show Interested in gaining skills in advocacy, leadership, project management, and fundraising.
- Applicants must be ready eady to commit to the programme for six (6) months duration.

Application Process for Youth Activators Lab (YAL) Program
1. Submission of Application: The application window for the 2026 Youth Activators Lab cohort will remain open for three weeks, from November 5, 2025, to November 21, 2025.
2. Review and Screening of Applications: All applications will be reviewed, and candidates who pass the initial screening will be invited to schedule a 10 minute introductory call with the Network of Youth for Sustainable Initiative team.
3. Interest Form and Reference: Candidates who successfully pass the interview stage will be required to complete an Expression of Interest form, which demonstrates their continued interest in participating in the Youth Activators Lab program. In addition, they will be required to submit a reflection paper. Candidates will be notified of their acceptance into the Young Entrepreneurs Lab and will receive an onboarding packet to help them get started. The notification and onboarding process will take place from January 9th to 13th, 2025.
