CDCFIB Shortlist Candidates for Aptitude Test 

The Civil Defence, Corrections, Fire and Immigration Bureau (CDCFIB) has officially announced that the list of successfully candidates for the 2025 recruitment exercise will be released begins from today Thursday 30th October, 2025 for Computer Based Test (CBT) .Once the list is released, applicants can check their status on the CDCFIB recruitment portal.

CDCFIB Shortlist 2025

Applicants who earlier applied for various position into any of the four 4 Services would be required to visit the Board portal tomorrow Thursday 30th October, 2025 to check if they are successful to take part in the Computer Based Test (CBT) as well as the designated centre and time where it would be holding.

Here is what applicants need to know, the CDCFIB will announce the list shortly after reviewing applications and verifying documents.

The shortlist is a list of candidates selected to proceed to the next stage of recruitment by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board(CDCFIB).

The recruitment portal for Civil Defence, Rehabilitation, Fire, and Immigration Services is now closed. Once the recruitment portal is reopened interested candidates access it at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng

CDCFIB Recruitment Required Documents For Screening 

Applicants who successfully shortlisted should keep the following documents ready for the screening exercise: 

• Applicants recent Passport Photograph. 
• Applicants Educational Certificates (eg. SSCE i, NCE/OND, Bachelors degrees/HND. 
• Applicants Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age.
• Applicants Means of Identification such as National identity Number, voters card, drivers license or international passport (National identity Number is more preferable).
• Applicants Acknowledgement Slip
• Applicants State of origin certificate (Indigene certificate).

Requirements for Computer Based Test (CBT)

Shortlisted Candidates Shall comes to the Computer Based Test (CBT) along with the following requirements:

• Application Acknowledgement Slip 
• National Identification Number Slip 
• Certificate of origin (Indigene Letter)

CDCFIB Recruitment Process 

The CDCFIB recruitment process is expected to includes accept applications, review applications, shortlist candidates for Aptitude Test, a screening exercise and a final shortlist for successful candidates who will be assigned into the CDCFIB designated training based. The recruitment process is highlights below:

1. Application Portal: The CDCFIB designed and open a recruitment portal to accept an applications form from interested and qualified Nigerians for the 2025 recruitment exercise. The recruitment portal may vary each year.

2. Review and evaluation of Applications: The CDCFIB after received applications, review and evaluation will undertake to select the qualified candidates.

3. Pre-selected Candidates: After applications is been reviewed and evaluated. The CDCFIB will released a Pre-selected candidates to undergo an aptitude test online. 

4. Computer Based Test: Pre-selected candidates will write an aptitude test to assess their comprehension skills.This aptitude will be conducted online.

5. Shortlisted Candidates: The CDCFIB will shortlist qualified candidates after the aptitude test is done. After this stage shortlisted candidates will undergo a physical screening to the CDCFIB States designated based.

6. Physical Screening: After shortlist is released, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for Physical screening including verification of original documents to the CDCFIB states designated based. 

7. Training: After recruitment process, Shortlisted candidates who completion the physical screening successfully will undergo a training exercise. The pattern training of the CDCFIB are categorized into part. The Cadre officers and Inspectors cadre will take a duration of 6 month training while the assistants cadre will take a duration of 3 month training.

8. Passing out parade: This is the last process of recruitment exercise when an candidates marking the end of training. The POP ceremony marks the end of rigorous training for recruits, who are welcomed as full-time personnel into their agencies.

How to check shortlist Applicants For Aptitude Test 

To check your application status, you need to follow the steps outlined below:

1. Visit the CDCFIB recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng

2. Click on the agency applied for (eg. Civil Defence, correctional service, immigration or fire service)

3. Enter your application details to confirm if you have been selected.

4. Click on “Check Status” once you have clicked on the check status your application status will be display indicating that whether you have been selected or not.

Important Notice: 

• CDCFIB will not send emails or SMS to applicants. Visit our portal, and once shortlisted, update your profile to print your examination slip. 
• More than 1.9M applied for just 30,000 thousand slots, please always pray to be among the shortlisted one.
• CDCFIB to releases shortlisted of successfully candidates begins from today Thursday 30th October, 2025 for the next stage of 2025 recruitment.
